Interested in getting a gorilla trekking permit at Bwindi National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda, contact Bamboo Ecotours. We will reserve the gorilla trekking permit on your behalf and collect the permit at our office in Kisoro town. Bamboo Ecotours office is located between Stanbic Bank and Uganda Wildlife offices in Kisoro town. Note that the quote is inclusive of transport from Kisoro town to Bwindi national park on the trekking day.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
We will pick you up at the lodge in the morning and drive to Bwindi national park for the long-awaited gorilla trekking. When we arrive at the national park gate, we will start the registration process, followed by a short presentation led by the national park guide. The briefing covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking presentation. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take from few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. We will drive back to Kisoro town or your lodging location after the gorilla trek, and that will be the end of the one-day tour.
